Well, got this email from VMware this morning: “Dear Lior Kamrat, Thank you for your interest in the VMware Certified Advanced Professional – Datacenter Administration program!  You have met the prerequisites and are now authorized to take this exam.  To schedule this exam, please contact Pearson VUE.  It can be scheduled online or by phone.” For those of  you who are not familiar with VMware advanced exams they are pretty hard to pass and include working on live servers and not just answering multiple-choice questions. Using VMware Tools with roaming profiles – a big no no!

Hi there, While configuring bunch of Citrix XenApp farms and Microsoft remote desktop farms in a vSphere based environment I came across the annoying collision between VMware Tools Shared Folders feature and the roaming profile mechanism. Welcome everyone, I would like to welcome you all to our blog! My name is Lior Kamrat (28) and I’ve being waiting to start this blogging project for quite some time now.
