So it’s been quite a while since I blogged, the longest “dry season” for me since starting. Why is that?! Well, I kinda flipped my life with moving to the US and becoming a program manager in Azure Compute R&D.
After my first unsuccessful VCDX attempt in last October and during these past 10 months, I worked my ass off on being successful. The thing is that although I was the one defending, I had an incredible support system and for those who were part of it I should and want to express my gratitude.
Finally, after 2 years of hard work I can say it – I am a VCDX! After a successful second defense (and the first one to pass a remote defense), “Operation Second Shot” is over. I got the email last Friday stating I am VCDX-CMA #230
Wow, 3rd year in a row being honored with the vExpert award! The vCommunity is such a beautiful thing and for me personally it has opened several career and personal opportunities in this past 3 years.
The 2014 VMware vExpert list was published last night and I’m so honored and humbled to be on that list for the second time in a row. This year’s list has total of 754 members including quite a few new members as well. Being part of the vCommunity is a big deal for me! Be selected as a vExpert is such a great honor. Being an active part of the VMware community is rewarding by itself but getting recognized for your contribution is a whole new ball game.
